Adam and Handsome
Watch the streets come alive as the artists transform the pavement into
works of art.  It happens the last weekend of every February in
downtown Lake Worth, Florida. *
A nicer guy, you will never meet.
Pictured here is a good friend, Michael
Lascasas. Michael is the original artist of
"Adam and Handsome" and is a very
talented artist to say the least. Give
him a basic idea of what you are looking
for and hes off and running, bringing it to
life on canvas...walls...glass..you name it!
And talk about patience!  If I ask him,
"Michael can you change this to this..?" or
"If is possible to do this or that.." His
answer is usually one of two: "Yes,
Adam" or "No problem, Adam" Here he is
working on his 2005 street painting
which was featured in the Official
brochure of the Lake Worth Street
Painting Festival for 2006.
If you would like to get in touch with

The great tradition of street painting began
in  Italy in the 16th century.  A crowd would
gather whenever an itinerant artist used his
chalks to turn the ordinary pavement into a
fine work of art.  Although the "painting"
would only last until the next rain, the
tradition of street painting has endured
over 400 years. *
Here my friend Judith, a
local artist in town creates
an "Adam and Handsome"
work of art showing us riding
in our '59 Austin Healey
BugEye Sprite! The original
artwork was created by
another friend of mine,
Michael Lascasas (read more
about Michael below). First
she rolls on a waterbased
"backer". Follow the pics as
Handsome and I slowly
become a couple of cool
cartoon characters cruising
down the streets of
Lake Worth!
Pictured directly above and below is
Judith again with her friend Hans who
helped out for the past couple of
years during the Festival.
Thanks Hans!

Handsome has many fans!
Pictured below is my sister Lisa and her two
boys Michael and Andrew. They came all the
way from N.Y. to visit and get their picture
taken with Handsome!

A couple of more Fans and Friends...
